After a long and freezing winter, Lithuania welcomes the late spring this year. While days are getting longer and the nature wakes up, Lithuanian golf courses are also preparing for the upcoming golfing season, which will start in couple weeks.
The director of the recently established V Golf Club (situated by the five star hotel Le Meridien Villon) Nick Solski says that the club will start golf season on the 17th of April. Both the V Club Golf Course and Driving range will be opened and wait for golf players 7 days per week.
“Last year a group of golfers from Finland were playing golf in our club on the 4th of April. These were the very first days of operation, but the weekend was really sunny and warm. This year the golfing season in The Capitals golf club will start a little bit later – on the 12th of April”, says Tadas Jarosius, property manager of The Capitals golf club. The course is situated in a unique territory of 145 ha, with natural lakes, wooded areas and marvelous views.
From the mid April, golf players from all around the world are welcome at the European Center golf club. Yet, only the driving range is accessible, but in couple weeks the course will be fully opened for golf fans.
